Service Project – Blind Ping Pong Showdown

🏓 Blind Ping Pong Showdown – Thank You! ❤️

What a meaningful and inspiring day!

Our heartfelt thanks go to Para Sports, MustardTek, the German School Shanghai, and everyone who helped make this wonderful event possible. Thank you also to all Rotary members, Friends of Rotary, volunteers, and spectators who joined us. 🙏🙏🙏

Above all, our deepest appreciation goes to the 15 blind athletes who shared this special experience with us 🙏🙏🙏.

Today,
the blind athletes were our teachers.

You introduced us to Showdown and showed us how much can be achieved through concentration, listening, trust, confidence, and determination. We learned so much from your skills, your positive spirit, and the way you supported and encouraged one another.🙏🙏🙏.

This was far more than a sporting activity. It was a day of learning from each other, building friendships, strengthening inclusion, and bringing our communities closer together.

The Rotary Club of Shanghai’s engagement with Shanghai’s blind community reaches back 102 years. We are proud and delighted to revitalize this meaningful connection and hope today marks the beginning of many more activities together.

Thank you all for creating such a joyful and unforgettable experience!

The Joy of Happy Rotary Service ❤️
