Annual global event to raise awareness of polio
Last Sunday was again Swimmarathon. The Swimmarathon is an annual global event to raise awareness of Polio and collect money for Polio Plus, Rotary’s global signature project.
Four teams competed – exhibiting wildly varying levels of swimming competence. There was no clear winner, though with a participation of 56 people, Rotarians from 4 different clubs in China, Rotaractors and Interactors the event definitely was a success with regards to raising awareness and funds.
