Christmas Mini Market and Party

On December 12th, the Rotary Christmas Mini Market and Party at Bella Napoli was a delightful celebration of community spirit and festive cheer. Attendees were treated to an array of tasty Italian food, from savory pasta dishes to delectable desserts. Many thanks to Beatrice for her hard work in organizing the booking. One of the event’s highlights was the auction, which featured many wonderful goods, including an exotic bar painting and unique pieces of art brought by Snowland. The sales from the auction and the mini market, to which many members contributed goods such as self-made cookies, candy, and granola, significantly supported the fundraising efforts for Snowland Arts, ensuring that the spirit of giving was alive and well.

The afternoon was further enhanced by the enchanting presence of magician Elliot, who wowed Rotarians with his impressive magic tricks, leaving everyone in awe and laughter. Adding to the festive atmosphere, Santa Markus wished everybody a Merry Christmas, spreading joy and goodwill among the attendees, especially the kids. In a heartwarming moment, Kevin’s wife, Catherine, was surprised with a rendition of “Happy Birthday” sung to her in several languages, adding a personal touch to the festivities. The event was a resounding success, bringing the community together while raising vital funds for a worthy cause.
