Motohiro Yamane

Leading the Sister Club Committee at Rotary Club of Shanghai, Motohiro Yamane is not only very active in the Club’s activities but also a welcomed guest at all of our Sister Clubs. His knowledge about Rotary is legendary and he often is the first to step forward when a fellow Rotarian needs support. Pagoda portraits the person behind the office.

When did you join RCS and who was your sponsor?

March 2009. Noriko Maezawa was the sponsor.


Where are you hailing from?

Tokyo, Japan


What are you doing professionally?

I am a lawyer advising Japanese companies doing business in China.


What would you like to share with our readers about your family?

I am the second generation of Rotary family and fostered my elder son as the third generation as an Interactor.


What are your hobbies, apart from RCS?

Travelling


How do you recharge your battery?

Exercising at the gym
