The power of Rotary, another successful story

Every remarkable story starts with “Once Upon a Time”. Our story cannot miss it. 

Once upon a time there was a Rotarian. During his daily work he noticed that his company was on about to throw into garbage over 400 notebooks they previously bought as promotional items, but employees forgot to deliver to customers when needed.

Our friend could not stand such a waste, so he contacted RCS Service Committee to see if these notebooks could have been beneficial to some students we support by our activities.

The engine started immediately. Partners who were currently living outside of China were contacted and a school in rural Anhui province was identified. In no more than 2 weeks the notebooks  reached the students.

The moral of this story is that when good people gather together everything is possible. Doing good is easy. Good hearts and thoughts can make a difference, no matter how big, into someone else’s life. And not only, thanks to this well working machine, our world will be a bit more sustainable.
