Career Empowerment Program (CEP)

Project Overview

This service project has been created and facilitated by the Rotary Club of Shanghai and Toastmasters Leadership Shanghai to

  1. leverage the career expertise of our members to provide career mentorship;
  2. provide career guidance for students and members of our community;
  3. provide an opportunity for members to engage in a service project.

Rotarians usually meet their mentees once for an online mentoring session of about 60 minutes.

Major achievements

  • RCS members and friends mentored more than 150 students and community members

How can you support?

Volunteer 90 minutes of your time to attend the next CEP mentoring activity.

Rotary Club of Shanghai West Gala

On Saturday, 4th November Shanghai West hosted his annual Gala dinner which took place at Shanghai Town and Country Club.  Around 150 Rotarians and guests attended this year this charity party. SR Frank Yih, our RCS President Moto and Tracy were also there to witness the big event.

Board Training for Youth Club

Every year, our club invites the officers of our club-sponsored Interact and Rotaract clubs for a day of training. This year, on September 23, the Board Training was hosted on the campus of SCIS HongQiao with the assistance of Teacher Adviser Matthew Kushner.

Run in Blue

The event was started with some laughter, Yoga and warm up exercises. 700 persons ran together to make the point that Autism needs public attention and support.
