President Elect Tracy Hua

Rotary Club of Shanghai is looking forward to being led by a woman in the third consecutive year in 2020-21. President-elect Tracy Hua will take Presidency on July 1, 2020, and currently chairs the Club Administration Committee and the PR Committee. Pagoda portraits the person behind the office. 

When did you join RCS and who was your sponsor?

April 2014, Tiffany Storey.


Where are you hailing from?

Shanghai


What are you doing professionally?

I am a sales veteran in IT industry, working in a sales/marketing role in areas of semiconductor, software and solution provider. I left Cisco Shanghai last August and now started to look for new opportunities after 1-year break.


What would you like to share with our readers about your family?

I am a mom of an independent girl who started to work in Silicon Valley 3 weeks ago. My husband and I visit her every 3 or 4 months to spend time together.


What are your hobbies, apart from RCS?

Traveling, cycling, yoga, reading, watching video.


How do you recharge your battery?

Drink with friends, go to massage.


Best/Last book you read and why

The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell, it tells us through different cases how little things can make a bit difference and the author redefined how we understand the world around us. I like reading most of the books by this Canadian writer, highly recommend.


What is your favorite place in Shanghai?

French Concession


What is your advice to any new member of RCS?

Be engaged, be connected, it’s a network worth the time you spend.
